Default Eibach Prokit install help

Ok so I didn't preload the springs n my car looks higher than OE. So I need to fix this. Can I just keep the bottom bolt loose n preload them or do I have to loosen the top 2 nuts on the strut tower as well when preloading???

im not exactly sure what your talking about but heres what ive always done with springs.

put the spring on the shock, put the tophat on and tighten down the center nut on the tophat, and then put it up through the holes in the wheels well and align the fork with the lower control arm, then push up really hard or you can compress the springs, and have a buddy put the other two nuts on the tophat, then tighten all 3 nuts down more, and install the fork nut.

im not really sure if any of that helps lol, sorry

You need to loosen everything and then use like a jack to raise the suspension components to the correct height. There is a DIY on S2ki

Ye I saw the s2ki DIY... I'm Just curious if I have to loosen the top strut nuts as well as the bottom to preload or if I can get away with loosen the bottom nut only. The driver rear is annoying to get to the to. Because of the fuel tube...

Also, when I use the Jack to lift the control arm , it says to lift to the point just before the car begins to lift... I'm assuming I can just attempt to lift equally on all 4 ends because it seems kind of difficult to measure how much I'm lifting on each corner with a Jack ... I hope all this works out... If tein wasn't on back order, this would not even be an issue... I think it's only with eibach because I have never preloaded any springs I have had on my previous cars...

Thx for the help guys...
