Anyone have a diagram of our driveshaft??? I was under my car today cleaning my exhaust cause a plastic bag melted onto it and I noticed something thats kinda scaring me. The back end of the driveshaft where it conects to the rear diff is spitting out axel grease. I wana know if I can take it apart and just replace the boot? Kinda like on an axel if the boot rips you know? But I dont know if that rubber part or boot is replaceable. Someone help me.

 

Yeah I have a diagram, it's from my helms manual on my computer.... but are you getting it nope.

and SuzukaBlue AP2 thanx. I think I might be gettiting a used driveshaft for free in the next week so Im not too worried about it anymore. Just sux I'm gona be spitting grease ph well nothing that I can't clean up when replacing it.

dude i had that happen, the bag thing, it [freak]in sucked, smelled plastic burning in my civic for like a month lol (i'm lazy and didnt feel like cleaning it off haha)
