Default down force needed

while rallying an unamed ford on a back woods farm road i came across a moderately steep drop(say 20feet difference in road height) which also began a long swooping left turn which then gently rose up another hill...i was driving about 90-100mph range and handled this turn, but the car became slightly unsteady due to a lack of appropiate downforce...the ford being atleast 1000lbs heavier handled the turn allright.

now i need advice on the best way to achieve down force on the s2k without appearing "riced"...im aware of the diffuser which im interested in and ofcourse lowering the car will affect this handling...but what are some other good ideas without sticking a giant wing on the car?

i enjoy the stock look of the car as it does not attracxt unwanted attention.

Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't justify spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on "downforce" mods just so I could take one turn doing 90-100 mph. I'd rather just slow down a bit. But if you must (and rice is out of the question) I've heard the OEM AP1 wing provides a few pounds of downforce at the rear. After that, things start to look a bit tacky.

you dont need down force, you just need to not take turns at 90 - 100mph

suspension is key, not downforce for a street car.
