Do you feel that the stock S2k is underpowered?
Unless the car is able to pilot without a driver it's not ~2800lbs.
I've scaled mine multiple times and it's never been under ~3000lbs with me in it. In it's lightest form it was 3050. 240hp and ~3000lbs is underpowered (by todays standards), however, that doesn't mean it makes the car not fun to drive.

Since when are we quoting weight with driver? In that case add 150-300lbs to every other car's weight out there and you're even again.
Once again I'll state, 240hp and ~2800lbs is NOT underpowered.
Um, I always quote weight with driver. Cars don't drive themselves.
Once again I'll state, 240hp and ~3000lbs is underpowered by todays "sport car"standards, which is what an S2000 is. And once again I'll state that doesn't mean the car is no longer fun to drive.

hell yeah
no matter how great the engine is and how must power it makes per litter of displacement its still an NA 4 banger and NA is only acceptible in v8's if you ask me. Then again i do have a boosted integra and an 500whp evo so of course the s2k is but slow. But i love driving the car besides the lack of acceleration power

^^ I semi agree. I loved the feeling when I test drove a evo 9 MR, and boost hit. But there's something magical about the linear NA feeling. If I ever go FI it will probably be with a centrifugal setup to try and keep that linear feeling.
difrent people have different opinions on what enough is, Not every one uses them for the same thing. My S2000 sees mostly straight so 240 is less then what half of what I need. If I was doing road racing or AutoX I would only need 240-300. Its also the driver, the car comes with a good amount of power and reliability for the price and very fun even if it is stock.
