the type v is only sold in japan and in europe... it has a VGS system that our cars in the us don't...... the VGS system stands for Variable Gear Ratio Steering (which is the first in automotive history)

it varies the steering gear ratio continuously according to vehicle speed and steering angle... this ensures ideal handling performance through a broad range of driving conditions.

so in other words.. it sort of make the S a better handleing car then it already is...

I posted a more in depth response awhile back but here is the gist. You can see that there is alot more than just the steering rack mod

More feeling 昂 and others せ る steering work.
From with quick, VGS which was developed because of more aggressive sport handling * it equips S2000typeV.
As for this VGS, as the marketing car where gear ratio of the steering wheel changes according to the vehicle speed and the position of a vessel's helm of the car the worldwide beginning, individual technology of HONDA.
As for the car with the small position of a vessel's helm leniently, with the large position of a vessel's helm you respond to quick to quick, regarding the high-speed limits for example regardless of the size of the position of a vessel's helm regarding the low-speed limits.
Because of that while estimating the line which you think that the driver would like to clear, when it cuts the steering wheel, gear ratio changes variably and the car traces the road nimbly and accurately.
The consecutive motion, one bodily sensation makes steering wheel feeling which overflows the driver feel.

In addition S2000 type V the suspension system has made the private design.
The main spring, the front stabilizer, LSD of torr plug system (the non-slip differential) using the private part.
The high response it became possible with that in all speed limits to enjoy handling.
