Mark Johnson (the man behind it) is a good guy. Some people, however, have had problems with him, for reasons I've never really delved into.
My recommendation is that you always send an email first inquiring as to whether things are in stock before you place an order, so that you know what you're getting into. As long as you do that, you should be all set. I think where you may get into difficulties is if you place an order for something that he doesn't have in stock, and you go ahead and pay for it. Then you'll be waiting, sometimes indefinitely, or for long periods of time (weeks, months) with your money tied up. Also appreciate the fact that Mark Johnson really isn't in the business to make lots of money, he's in the business to hook up NSX people with good parts at good prices. That means if you're an ******* customer, don't be surprised if you get ******* service. I think that's another part of the dichotomy. Most people seem to either love him (for example, I've ordered several times and he's shipped the parts, and I've actually had to pester him to get him to tell me how much money I owe him so I can pay him), whereas other people hate him because they've had some bad experience.
Chris Willson of http://www.scienceofspeed.com is also a great guy. He's also a big supporter of our local NSX community up here in the Seattle area. I never have trouble dealing with him, because I usually just call his cellphone, ask if he's got it, and then just go over, write him a check, and pick it up.
But I've never heard any complaints from other owners about his service. He's also got good prices.

Grippgoat is right on the money. Mark is a cool dude and will send you the stuff immediately if he has it in stock. But if it's out of stock, you won't see it until he gets it. i definitely recommend asking if things are in stock. Also on their website, they have a indicator that shows whether the part is in stock or not. He has answered all the questions promptly when I have asked him prior/after the parts were purchased.
