how's this? a recent dyno chart from a mustang dyno, only thing on the car is intake/header/exhuast and the EMS, only fuel tuned. No ignition maps touched. Mustang dynos are the most conservative. Need to tune out that dip in the torque curve before vtec.

on dynojet add roughly 10-11% to mustang dyno numbers. My car recently just dynoed 265 on the our mustang dyno at our shop here.

hmmm...
want to talk about the debate?
go to the s2ki site about the dyno test. check out the numbers that the vtec.net people put down on the '04 2.2l s2k

hey, how many lbs are you boosting? how is it running? they had told me turbo isn't really good for the S. any problems? advice? cuz i am thinking about taking the route. do you recommend it? oh yea is it a kit? or a custem setup? looks like a drag kit.

This kit was built at our shop here and it was custom but nothing crazy, no internals, I'm boosting a little over 9psi with pretty conservative air fuel ratios. The only thing i can absolutely recommend is that if you turbo or supercharge, get the AEM EMS or some type of standalone, this is the correct way to have the car running and tuned. AFC and emanage will not fix the car correctly meaning that you will have ecu problems and the car will bog or buck at times. When I mash the pedal the car starts to boost at early 4k rpm and is at full boost at mid 5k rpm, I make my max torque at 5700 rpm and max hp at 8000rpm. The car idles like stock and drives like a dream. Although first and second has hardly any traction and a quick 1-2 shift will very easily send the back end swinging. I'm still using stock exhaust but no cat so the car is very quite until the dump tube get loud. We also had a stock evo here that had autronic standalone and turbo back exhaust tuned and pulled 270 on pump gas then ran a 12.2 in 1/4 at a local track. And save money for a new clutch too.

waht do you think your car will do on the 1/4? and your able to run safe at 9 psi on stock internals on the S2000? how long have you had the car? what tires are you running? by the way, does the s2k have forged pistons?

I believe the s2k has lightweight forged pistons, I think that the internals are fine as long as the tuning is good. I've had my car for almost 3 years now with the turbo kit on running since July but just this week is when i had the ems installed and tuned. As for 1/4 mile times I should be in the 12s but i'm not willing to break the car trying to get 12s. The Ulitmate Racing turbo S runs mid 12s and they are using the Greddy emanage for tuning, their dyno numbers are 296 on a dyno jet @ 7 psi, They are running less psi but i would say a more aggressive tune with greater a/f ratios and more timing.

has an amuse front lip too now

thats a nice car you got their. what did you mean the ultimate racing s2k? as in their car has it running 12's? with 296 would it be mid 12's or high? i know on the prelude at 350whp it runs 12's how come the S runs 12's at 296whp? btw how will you break the car? do you mean the differential? and if so why dont you get the reinforcement thing? also, your running a t3/t4 correct? what is the ultimate racing using? do you know any sites or anywhere i can get some videos of s2k's?

http://www.ultimate-racing.com/

go through their website and your see their time slips. With sticky tires and dumping at around 6k with this much more power, the percentage of breaking the differential or cv joints are increased. I would reinforce the diff but money is the problem at the hand, I need a stronger clutch at the moment and aftermarket exhaust. Yes I'm running a t3/t4 60trim turbo with stage 3 wheel. UR is using a t3/t4 also. If you want videos try s2ki.com

the ultimate racing is using a To4e which is bigger than the t3/t4. he is pushing out 296 with 198 at 7psi. how come s2k's push out pathetic torque numbers?why sooooo low and especially below 6k's rpms makes hardly any power. they ran a 12.6 i believe with taht power. pretty damn good numbers i think.

No they are using a T3/T4, They are using a T04E compressor housing with custom spec compressor wheel, but they are still using a T3 turbine housing so they are using a T3/T4, they just word it differently on their website. If you never sat in a turbo S, wait to comment on the torque.

You can get T04B and T04E compressor housings the T04E is more efficient. Then you can get a T3 or T4 turbine housing. Full T4 turbos have T4 compressor and T4 turbine.

The T3/T4 turbo allows quicker spooling because the turbine side is smaller then the full t4 turbo, then having a t4 compressor side will allow for more flow or more boost.

I don't know the specs of the precision sc61, I went with my turbo and not a full t4 because I wanted a quicker spool but also I went will a different (larger) AR on the turbine side to allow for more exhaust flow. I have no regrets on the turbo I've chosen, that and I paid only $589 brand new for my turbo.
