Alright my friend just had an exceddy racing clutch put in his S. Well all of a sudden the check engine light is on. It says its the primary o2 sencor heater wire malfunction. He changed the o2 sencor and its still on. Does anyone know what the heater wire is?

 

Most newer O2 sensors have a heater built into them to make them become active faster on startup. This sound like part of a wiring harness may have been damaged when the clutch was replaced.

This could be anything from a wiring harness connector come loose to a broken wire to the wrong O2 sensor installed.
