boosting a s2k
well the s2k has some nice forged internals and u can def run boost on a stock block...of course its a good idea to get the blocck sleeved with lower comp pisitons...if u wanna keep the stock block..make sure u get a good kit and keep boost at 6psi....i warn u now that a turbo kit is gonna b very expensive...it will b around 7-9k for an ems and to install the parts for turbo...whateva u do try to find a kit for the car and a good installer...tryin to piece out a kit and having cutom IC piping is a PITA..and cost is gonna b heavy
thanks guys, yea i noticed that turbo kits for the s2k cost a grip! im really thinking about supercharging it but we'll see. i'll post a forum when im done with pictures
AEM EMS is a must!!! VAFC will not work here
if you get a thicker headgasket to lower the compression then the block can hold 450 to the wheels with those nice forged internals.
don't hold me resonsible if your motor blows though.
there is a company that makes a headgasket for the S, made specifically for turboing an S and it lowers the compression to 9:1.
