Icon2 Approach angle of S2000?

Strange question, and I know S2K is not a 4X4. I need to know the approach angle of the S2000. Yes, on lowered cars, one can add a ply wood board at the dip. My HOA would not allow such a thing left in the driveway.

I'm not exactly sure what the angle is, but my OEM Accord (with 4X4 looks) will scrape the front unless I go in super slow.

TIA

If you don't know, would you mind taking a measurement of the front, like at the lip area? Thanks.

I can find the min ground clearance, but that not a concern heading into the driveway.

Are you asking how to get an s2k in a driveway? If it's lowered and it's steep just use some 2x4 for a ramp and pick them up after?

Or just angle it alot than turn the wheels fully locked pointing towards the driveway and go super slow

Slow and as parralel to the driveway I can get while still being able to pull in always worked for me. Never scrapped lip but if I was low enough I'd scrape the frame rail which isn't a biggie

Yes, I know how it's done, and if that's what I got to do, I'll do. However, wife will be driving the car most of the time. So I'm more asking for the measurement(s). If it's not going to work out, or too much trouble, then we may not get the S2000. So, yes, it does come to that.

Angling sometimes may be difficult, depending from which side because of the mailbox, and the Odyssey will be in the driveway, which takes up a lot of the space both ways.

Yes, I can go get the measurements at the dealership, but I hope you guys can help me out first. Cause I know if I see it and test drive it, I'm going to fall in love with it.

I'd tell the HOA to shove it and build you a new driveway. If a stock accord scrapes then it wasnt built right in the first place.

Here is how my hood looks like. That's how they designed the driveway. See how there is NO difference between the sidewalk, curb, and driveway.

Yes, the Ody scrapes too. Everything will scrape short of a truck/SUV. My name is GoLowDrew, and none of my current cars are lowered.

yeah.. there would be serious problems if I lived in that neighborhood... I'd be out there with a jackhammer and they'd toss me out.

Mine is sloped similar and I am lowered...just come in at a angle and there should be a issue.

As far as measurements go, they vary. Specify whether you are looking for a AP1 or AP2...also if you will have the OEM lip or not.

Cost cutting. So they don't have to build driveways. The entire community is done in one shot, no matter where they mark/divide up the land for housing.

If there are change of (master) plan, they don't have to take a jackhammer to it. And also, if they are "off" with the specs of the driveway, no big deal because the slope is exactly the same.

2005 AP2. OEM lip (bumper). Or should I say no lip (?).

If you're stock height, come down from the top of the hill (don't tell me that ****'s flat broo) and do as blacks2k suggested, you'll definitely be fine. The overhang of the S2000 is far more favorable than the accord for speedbumps if they were the same height. The nose to wheel distance is MUCH shorter on the S2000 so driveway-entering angle is way more favorable lol

Best way to approach an s2000 is to approach it from the rear... Dont let her know you're comin'.

No but seriously, what a strange driveway. I'd just go at it in a severe angle if it were me.
