Well my speedometer said 172mph, but I highly doubt it was completely accurate. Anyone have any of the GPS clocked speeds?

I would say take the s2k to a dyno and run it on the rollers. It's stationary, safe, and it's secured to the rollers. Just take it up to 6th gear and see where it max's out at.

Yea, that sounds about as exciting as a colonoscopy.

You can accurately determine speed with (with very little variance) with 500 feet and a stop watch. Or a 1/4 mile and a stop watch. Just make sure your car is at it's top speed when hitting the trap.

Recommendations.... bonneville or airstrip.
