Hey guys, been here a little while, but just decided to post. My name is Tyler and I just bought my in about the middle of December. I am from New Brunswick, Canada, and I bought it completely on the other side of the continent in Oregon, USA. My other car was a 1988 Honda Prelude Si 4WS, and I am currently trying to sell the old girl. Here's a short description of my S2000, and a few pictures too.
2001 S2000
Berlina Black w/ Red & Black Interior
VIS C/F Hood
Seibon C/F OEM Front Lip
NSP Tuning C/F OEM Rear Spoiler
Powedercoated Gloss Black OEM Wheels
AEM V2 CAI
Apex'i V-AFC 2
Skunk 2 Race Springs
Whiteline Front X-Brace
Optima Red Top Battery
Ricks2k Centre Console
Ricks2k Shift Boot
Fully Dynamatted Throughout
2 Way Paging Alarm System
And just bought yesterday...
17 x 7.5 +48 & 17 x 9.0 +63 Volk LE37T in Gloss Black with Polished Lip.
Car also has new Clutch, PressurePlate and Flywheel to eliminate the buzz, and new rear window to fix the yellow/cracked factory one.
Here are the pics...

Here are the new wheels and a photoshop of them on the car...

And here is a pic of my old Lude...I built it from stock starting when I was 16, and currently have about 15,000 CDN invested in it.

Thanks for looking,
Tyler

Are there any tried and true setting for the V-AFC, or is it nore like cam gears where every car is different?
Thanks,
Tyler

My thoughts of the VAFC is that it's pretty much useless, unless you have an AP2 and want to drop the switchover to 5500 or so, and get more VTEC out. The 6k switchover on the AP1 is fine as it is.
Those gains are from adjusting the air/fuel curve to match their mods. It's just leaning/richening of certain parts of the power band, though 7-8 hp is pretty impressive of a gain on this motor.

OK, thanks for the info guys, and thanks for the welcome everyone else!!
What would you guys suggest as my next power producing mod? There are both a J's Racing header and 70RR Exhaust on s2ki, but they are pretty $$, would they be worth the money?

exhaust and header go hand and hand...honestly id get the exhaust.
you save the weight and get some power...the factory s2000 header is very light and well made...

Well both would have to wait a little while, since I just bought the Volks, but I owuld definately like to do the exhaust sooner or later. I was thinking about maybe just doing the Berk test pipe for now and then going with either the J's 70RR or the T1R 70. Which would you guys rather? I'm not really worried about noise, so don't base your opinion on that.
