another immobilizer question
Hey, i was unsure about the stock immobilizer. Does anyone recommend keeping it for a antitheft device, or should i purchase a alarm for it. If anyone would recommend the immobilizer i'll leave it on. I hear the immobilizer is more potent than the alarm anyways. What should i do to keep my S2000 in my driveway every morning?
much appreciated for all your help

unfortunately, good thieves know how to beat the immobilizer quickly anyways....i.e type-r's have it and are VERY commonly stolen. All they need to do is get access to the ignition to turn it, and plug in their own ECU and it will start, the immobilizer system is in the ECU.

find a garage to park it inside, or another car to park behind it. but even then, if they want it, they can take it.
