ok heres the deal... i just lowered my car yesterday on Swift Mach Springs... its a conservative 1" drop which is all i was looking for so i was happy with that regard... i know i have to get an alignment done, but do i really have to wait a week? also my steering wheel is in the 10 o' clock position... this will be adjusted when the alignment is done? should i just bring it to a pepboys, firestone, etc? os is there better places to choose?
ohh and i will post pics as soon as i can find my data cable... thanks guys...

I'm surprised that your steering wheel's angle changed so much. Is it seriously that off? I just swapped to Espelir (~1.3" drop) on stock struts and the steering wheeel seems perfect. The camber is definitely off and I get more bump-steer, but overall feel remains the same.

ok maybe i exagerated a lil bit... maybe not 10, buyt more like 11 o clock... yeah i dont understand it either... we did my buddies S last week with espeliers and the only issue he had was major camber... and ive lowered several cars in the past and the only other time it happened was when i put coils on my teg... im gonna do a spot check tonight and re-torque everything down... im getting an alignment either thurs or friday so hopefully it will be corrected...
also, i was pretty sure you had to wait a week to get an alignment when lowered on springs, but i heard somewheres that it didnt matter how long you waited with the Swifts... they basically said as soon as you slap them on thats about as low as its gonna get... thats why you cant trust everyone

I'm going to align my car sometime this week, as I installed my Espelir's last week. I'm sure with some springs you can wait, and some you don't. But it's only a week, so it won't make too much of a difference.
Yep, also confuses me with the steering angle. When doing springs/suspension on the S2000, the tie rod doesn't need to be remove at all. The A-arms just unbolt very easily and the entire assembly shifts forward. Good luck.

well maybe your steering wheel was just a tiny bit off before. When you put the springs on, it just exxagerated it. Angles change pretty dramatically on the S2000 even with 1'' of lowering.
Did you rotate the tires? Swap them side to side? maybe you had some uneven wear before and now it sits weird. My steering wheel on my GSR is straight, and then when I rotate the tires, it goes crooked. When i have them rotated back to the original position, the steering wheel goes back. lol it's weird. The car goes straight, and there's no uneven tread wear.
When they align the car, they align it with the steering wheel pointed straight. So they will match the wheels to the steering wheel when they align.

I helped drop my friends s, we droped it on espelirs and he went and got his allignment done liek two days after. Now about a month later his springs finaly broke in and his camber got all messed up again. So he has to go get hiss alignement done again. I ordered the same springs (espelir asd) they havent come in yet though. But when they do and whne I install them im gona wait a good month b4 i get the allignment done. Anyways where is that pic you said you would post?????
I have a quick question for anyone that can help... I installed KONI Yellows with espelir ASD. The whole drivers side sits about .25 inch lower than passenger side. How can you tell what springs are front and rear. There are no descriptions on the springs telling you which are front and rear... Can anyone help me with images or what i need to look for to try and identify which is front and rear springs? Thanks ....
