Default accelerating problem

ok soi have a 2001 s2k when im getting on it 1st gear v-tec wont kick in till 8k and hits rev limit at 9k but in 2-4th gear v-tec doesnt hit and hits rev limit at 8200

i have no idea what it is checked everything no cel and no codes

does any one know of what else i could check, a couple people said the ecu might be bad and others say oil but the oil level is good

you need to check your oil on every fill up. it says so in the owner's manual

yea might be really low on oil.. vtec doesnt kick when oil is low and everytime u hit vtec it burns very little oil
