Default 04+ taillight conversion

Topic searched

I found some but I didn't get all of my questions answered. Can some one point me to a good DIY? Or something like that... Has any one had problems with this?
I'm sure there something out there I'm just not looking in the right places. Thanks.

04 lights wont just fit. You need body work and new wires I hear.

Neither are simple bolt ons...they both take rewiring from what ive read and they both require slight modifications of the bumpers and brackets to mount them.

ok, pm hardtop guy. he did this and has a write up on s2ki. to make ap2 tail lights fit ap1 s2000, you need to drill new mounting holes in the car itself. the ap2 lights use different points to point than the ap1. im not sure about the wires, but i think you need to change them since the ap2 lights are LED...

^ what he said and also you do need to modify your bumper (aka bodywork). its prob just easier to use the 04+ rear bumper. might be cheaper
