i'm a long time honda-tech member. done lots of honda stuff... www.rndauto.com
i've now got a 01 S2K. looking to turbo it later on down the line, but wondering what mods are good for hp gains now. its got a K&N filter already. i've read up that the stock header and exhaust are good and not many aftermarket gain hp other than the toda and hytech stuff but thats $$$$. also looking to lower it 1"-2". i'll search for it, but looking to know the stock spring rates. glad to be a S2K owner now

my buddy had the comptech intake, berk header, and no cat tuned with AEM before getting his SOT supercharger kit. the peak power changed an ok amount, 215whp vs my bone stock 205whp on the same dyno. some spots in the midrange gained a lot, 15 trq at 4500 rpm, 18 trq at 2500rpm. I would guess the trq gains would be a little lower on an AP1 but still similar gains % wise.

my personal opinion, especially since you're already thinking boost, just save the money towards boost which will really give you the most power for the money. that's what I'm doing with the only exception maybe being an used cold air intake which would be mostly for the sound effects I wouldn't expect to gain a lot of power from it. I'm planning on the full-race kit once I sell my crx

I agree with S2KFTW. You are just gonna be wasting money spending money on parts you can only use if your N/A if you are thinking of boost.

I've always been a NA guy... but I might go boost on this one. Seems like a good amount of power can be made on the stock motor with a little boost.

Exactly what S2KFTW said .. if you are planning on boost save the money for that. Going NA is incredibly expensive and the returns are not great. The stock block takes the extra power incredibly well (can run 450whp on a good tune with only a 3mm head gasket and no issues). I would definitely recommend going this route .. you won't regret it
