Default yet another

searched for 2hrs.
Found out 3 of my rims were cracked & rewelded, and I hate 17s anyway.

Looking to get some slipstreams. 15x7 or 7.5 From what I gather, 225 rubber will fit 7in rims.
What advantage would there be in going the extra 1/2 in? Going for weight so if not necessary...

Also, riding on stock height +40 shouldn't be a problem? GC/koni drop 1-2in? The tires on now have chunks taken off the inside of tire, assume from bad allignment/heavy potholing, hitting the UCA mount?

Like 45 sidewall better than 50? What wheels do you have? What offset?

Checked with 5 dealers of rotas and it seems getting 15x7.5 114.3 +40-48 slipstreams in full royal gunmetal or steel is impossible due to the less used bolt pattern. Do have bronze with +48 so I might have to take that...
