Default Is it worth it?

Hey i have a 93 Prelude SI with the DOHC h23. I was planning on doing the H23/VTEC but im not sure about building up a prelude just because of the weight of them. Is it worth trying to build up and make fast or should i just try and find something like a hatchback or CRX to spend the money on?

do you want a road-race car or a drag car or a fun, well-performing, nice-looking car?

If you want a drag car, then sell the lude and buy a 1g DSM

If you want a road-race car, sell the lude and buy a miata

If you want a fun, well-performing, nice-looking car, the keep the Lude and build 'er up!

haha yeah ludes can be made one of the best looking cars on the road, i just want something to keep up with the hatchs and crx's and things around here. I plan on doing the H23VTEC or h23 Turbo, that should keep them off right?

i have the h23 now, but i just needed some opinions on what i should do to the motor. I like the idea of h23VTEC because for ones its cheaper than the h22 swap (or as far as i kno it is) and it gets the VTEC and Torque, but i also like the complete h22 swap cause its less hassle, but its more $, which i dont have alot of...haha

The lude is an awesome track car if you know how to drive it. Turbo your h23 and youll get more power than an h22 swap.

yeah, this is what i was thinking. i'd keep the lude. it might be a little heavy, but it doesn't take that much to make it decently quick and its a lot better looking than a hatch or crx. i like the way it handles better too.

i got an jdm h22 swap w/ lsd in my si for about 3700, including labor, headers, and everything... but i'm not planning on building it any further and i don't know how it compares to an h23vtec
