Hey everyone... I got a 93 prelude si and need new spark plug wires. I was checking on ebay and found some accel brand. What do you guys think of them? Also, I got some mods... what mm do you recommend? Thanks.

 

I tried the Accel 300+ Thundersport wires when they came out, but got rid of them quickly due to poor fitment at the plug and a VERY short #2 wire. I ordered a set of MSD 8.5mm wires which fit MUCH better, looked better, and suppressed all ignition noise at only about 50 ohm/foot... probably the lowest resistance of any heli coil wire available.

 

how long will the msd wires last anyways? so you are not recommending that I get it right?

 

also, is the higher the mm, the better?

 

not necessarily. Save your money, ngk blues - I know of many b18t's that run them w/ no problem... including one of mine
