Default will this work?

im thinknig about buying a prelude si and then buying a h22 head and putting it on there. i herd the h223's have better bottom end and if the h22 head on there, the vtech and all,it will be as fast as the prelude vtechs? im going to get a 92-96 one.

so will it be as fast as a vtech prelude the same year,or will buying the si with h22 head be waste of time?

It'll work, but you're come across problems in the future. Do a search, cause this has been discussed quite a few times...

ay y0 i goTz lYKe 8 RinGer TOneZ on MY VteCH dawgg.

on a side note- you dont wanna get into an h23 *vtec* project unless you have a lot of allowance for downtime and tuning. it's quite a bitch- PM satansrv for what will probably a reprimand of your thought process. h23's have good bottom end and vtec up top would make the car scream. theoretically, an h23vtec motor tuned correctly will beat the pants of an h22. but in the real world- the reliability down the road for a frankenstein like that is low at best. buy yourself an h22 swap for the Si. or just look for a vtec model.

well like i said, you're gonna need to talk to SatanSRV for that kind of info. Also the Search Function is useful (search archives). Good luck..
