hey guys i just picked up a 92 prelude a rod went through the block on the way home it had a h23 in it but i picked up an f22 block and a h23 head and im wondering what all im gonna have to do to make this work plz help

 

im not sure if the h23 head is the same as the h22 head, but if u look in the "FAQ FAQ FAQ 99% OF YOUR QUESSTIONS ANSWERED HERE" thread, u will find a lot of info about these mix and match swaps.

 

i looked in there and it never mentioned anything about this mix match swap but ive had at least 5 people tell me it will work but i kno these people and they are slightly shady and i dont wanna risk the car with out knowing

 

it'll work, i skimmed through a thread on it before. it's probably in the FAQ. requires a passage (not sure if its water or oil) to be blocked..

 

that actually makes me feel so much better cuz i dont wanna have to bore out anything or screw with the block im jsut gonna have to look more into which passage has to be blocked off and jw how should i block that passage off idk much since this is my first swap
