i just got a h22a4 prelude engine, its a 97-98 i believe and i need to find a ecu that will run this. what is the stock ecu? and also would a obd2 integra gsr ecu work with this engine? i know its a obd2 engine, so if anyone can please help hit me back asap thanks.
As far as I know, from reading, the GSR ECUs are only OBD1, but you can use them yes. Check Hondata's website, and they have a link there that will give you a list of suitable ECUs to used with 97-01 Preludes. Here: http://www.hondata.com/engines.html
Stock ECU for a non-ATTS H22A4 is P5M.
An OBD2 GSR ECU wouldn't be suitable. And a stock OBD1 one wouldn't be either but they can be chipped and programed with settings suitable for a H22 if you so choose, which you can't really do so easily with an OBD2 ECU.

without modification, you are stuck with the stock P5M ecu. If you convert to ODB1, you can modify an ecu for hondata, crome, neptune or your program of choice, but all of those will have to be tuned in order to work properly. If you do a search, or look at hondata's website, it should list all of the ecu's that can be used.
