Default wheel issues

I have two dented front wheels from a HUGE unavoidable pothole that need to either be replaced or repaired. Do you guys know how much it usually costs to do a repair and where I might be able to get it done in the Detroit area? Is it a better idea to just get two replacements? It seems like nobody can answer my questions so I hope that you guys can. Thanks.

Unless you have really expensive wheels (Say $400+/wheel), it will likely be more cost effective to just buy replacement wheels than to get them repaired...

I'm unsure of the price for the Team Dynamics Motorsports when bought seperately. If anyone knows of a dealer online where I could find out that would be really cool.

There is a place here in my area that my friend has gone to several times to get his rims repaired. It cost him about 100 bucks a wheel to repair the dents. They did a pretty good job, cant even tell they were bent except on one where he dented it pretty bad. Thats only if you look real close, the tool they use left a slight mark.

I funked up an OE wheel when I still had my GS-R and shipped it to Wheels America on Long Island (nearest for me).

After $130 for service and shipping, the wheel came back still out-of-round and with the film that protects the machine-finish surface stripped off.

Total f-in' disaster.

Ended up dropping $300+ for a new wheel and wished I'd done that to begin with.

Bite the bullet and buy the new wheels -- after a repair, they're never really the same again.
