Looks like an h23. Look at the stamp on the block, right next to the tranny. That will tell you what engine it is.

 

Yes it's a DOHC.

 

It doesn't have a knock sensor so it can't be an h23 can it?

 

as far as i know the H23 or the F22's didn't have knock sensors just the H22. I could be wrong..

 

Im pretty sure all H series came with a KS. I know that F series dont, except the F23 does which is obd2.

 

Yeah i wasn't sure, I haven't worked with very many H23's but building my F-series i've come to learn there's alot of similarities between the two motors.

For OP the easiest thing to do is check the stamp on the block.

h23 had a knock sensor. That is a DOHC engine so it cant be an f22.
