Default what is this plug for??

Ok, so installing my EL dash harness for my EL gauges, I noticed something. I have 2 plugs left over, 1 I know is supposed to be left over, and I am supposed to ground the blk wire, but I do not know where this big plug goes. It is a big plug, grey in color, and only 4 wires leading to it. I called my friend who has both a 92 lude S model and a 92 Si in which he did the EL conversion, and he looked under his dash on his S model, and said it had 1 less plug than his Si...

so I ask you, what is this for?

well...here is what helms shows...you see there are only 2 plugs on the right side under the dash. that is because my helms is for a 93 vtec, before they had EL gauges

Im not sure which plug is which, both are in the same location...

plug C620 says it has 20 cavities and that it is part of the main wire harness(C404)
plug C621 says it has 16 cavities and that it is part of right side wire harness(C503)

so I think its the 16 cavity plug Im not sure about, but helms just says it goes to the dash harness, doesn't say anything about what it controls. someone please help!

well...the fusebox/battery are not in the car at the moment, and neither is the engine. bay is completely empty. Should I hook it up and try and see what works and what doesnt?

also, would you happen to know what this plug is for and why the SI/vtec has it but the S doesn't?

Man, I don't remember for sure. I've been all through those wires and it seems but I don't remember exactly what that one does...I would wait until you get power and just see what doesn't work if anything. It might be un-used.

my friend(92 Si) said he had that green plug(the one without anything) but didn't have it in his 92 S.

From the pic, looks like a blue, red/pink, green, and another. I do recall there are 4 wires in the whole plug. was yours hangin or plugged in?

mines just hangin there, but then again so is alot of stuff. No, I don't have the EL guages, but now that I think about it that dash came from another car. I know it was a Prelude S but I'm not sure what year. I know the console and such was the same as mine inside if that says anything.

I may still have that old dash layin around, I'll go look for it.

Thats really hard to tell in my car

Just to make sure you're saying you have two plugs on the right side coming out of the dash right? AND only one of them is plugged in? Its def the 16 cav plug (right side harness)

I checked my other dash too and its got the same two plugs as well. The only thing that I can recall removing on that side of the car was the ABS computer. All my windows/door locks function so I know its not that. Just try it and see
