Default What muffler to get? Tanabe?

I got a Header/high flow cat/custom 2.5" exhaust/ractive muffler combo and the muffler sounds like crap... I was wondering what other mufflers sound good... low deep tone, semi-quiet but still noticable... how is the Tanabe Super-Medallion muffler sound?

why don't you just get a stock 350z exhaust and cut off the muffler and put it on. Then your car will sound like a 350Z. LOLL

When you got your custom exhaust done, did they weld on a resonator to your piping? A straight-through design will alter the sound. Also, is your high-flow cat resonated or a straight-through pipe? Mufflers make a difference too ( big canister vs. small canister, ect. ).

The biggest difference in exhaust note is the displacement of engines. 1.6 L would not sound as deep as a 2.3 L.
The 1.8 L wouln't even come close to sounding like a 3.0 L
The 3.2 L acuras would never sould like 5.0 L mustangs. Get the trend ?

yea i understand all of that, I'm not sure about the cat but there was no resonator welded in... I'm just looking to see what mufflers sound good on my car in general... i got a H22 and I noticed a lot of people use the tanabe medallion exhaust and love it... its got a really big muffler
