what is this. i unpluged this and it didnt throw a light or anything. no VAC lines are hooked up to it. i think this is the one that had a vac line running to the resonator. can i take it out? will it affect anything?

That's the vacuum box and solenoid for the intake air bypass that was in the resonator before it was removed. Whoever installed your CAI was supposed to remove it at that time.

 

what about that sensor? i still have it disconnected. why the hell does it have that going to it. does the ecu read off it?

 

No need to worry,your ecu won't get a code for it.Its a non-emmision control device
