What to do?????
Ok I'm going to look at a 1995 prelude with like 133,000 miles on original h22a. The guy said that the lowering was done by the previous owner and that it probably should be replaced. my concern is that he might have dinged or bent something while he was doing it. Is there anything I should look for. Also is there anything that I should do or look for to make sure it is ok and in good running condition. Please all help would be great. Thank you O yeah what would be a good price for something around this body looks to be in good condition with minor scratches in the front bumper.
A lot of people lower their cars the bad way, like putting ebay coilovers/lowering springs on stock struts, and even worse cutting the stock spring. Do a test drive see if its really bouncy, or super hard; if it is, then that's no good. As far as the engine, it's hard to tell its condition just by looking at it. Check the oil dipstick look for water droplets, and signs of oil and water mixing (you dont want to find that). Another good way is to look at the spark plugs, they're a good way of finding an engine's condition.

Do a compression check, take it for a test drive and visually inspect the shocks for leaks if you're worried about the suspension.
Some research for typical prices in your area will give you a good idea as to what's a fair price.

If all checks out what do you think a fair price would be to offer him it looks to be in good conditon and it's got 135,000 miles and thanks for all the previous help. I will keep it all in mind
