what to do with.....
my buddy danny has a 86 prelude that we turboed. now the head gasket is leaking oil. we haven't seenany oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil. my question is what is offered for this typ of motor (BT) iirc. i couldn't find any thing in the ARP catuloge. we really want to ''stud'' this block. the car is running about 9 psi of boost. the motor is completely stock. well except the accel 255cc injectors (witch is more than enuff fuel). i was trying to get him to do a motor swap but i'm not sure what fits (me being a vw owner and all). any info would be great. thanks for looking at this post

I know it's not part of your question...but 255cc injectors? If you're pushing 9psi on an average size turbo, it seems like you'd be getting pretty high on those injectors' duty cycle. 255cc injectors in a 4 cylinder are good for a little over 200 crank horse. If you've had it dynoed, which I hope you have, and you were around 165 whp, I'd look into getting some more injectors so that you aren't detonating. Definitely get it tuned if you haven't; it's going to have more power and last longer.
I don't know about a swap.

he has a MSD6 btm. detonation is not a problem. the air/fuel meter never leans out. we had my good friend john put it on his LM1 and under boosts it stay at 11.6. isn't 14.7 like the perfect air fuel ratio? what compression is his motor at? could we put two stock head gaskets on this motor to lower the compression ratio?

Is that all you know how to do? Quote what someone said and then give them a thumbs down? I have looked at like 5 threads today with you doing that ****. How about giving a reason as to why you disagree with what someone said?
