what is code 21? i have a h22aEG thats just started, and its putt out code 21. never heard of it.

 

Is it the CEL or ABS?

In my 98 Integra Supplement, Code 21 is from the ABS :

yeah its code 21, because it has 2 long blinks and 1 quick one.

 

This is right from my Helms manual (for a '94 Prelude) -

CODE 21 = Variable Valve Timing & Valve Lift Electronic Control Solenoid Valve.

You can check the solenoid by doing a continuity test. Probe the connector terminal and then take the other probe and touch a GOOD grounding point. If you get a reading of 14 - 30 ohms, you have a good VTEC solenoid valve. If you get a number below 14 or higher than 30, you have a BAD valve - replace it.
