Been hearing some new sound coming from my engine bay, so i checked it out. I think the noise is coming from this part right here

Compared to other areas around it, it vibrates alot more. I wanna say power steering pump, but im not sure.. the pulley connected near the side of it might be the main cause its vibrating though. any ideas on why?

Yes thats your p/s pump. Make sure all the bolts are tightened to specs. Besides that I really don't know what would cause it to vibrate.

 

make sure there is fluid, my friends prelude did this and it siezed up and stopped completely

 

i wrecked mine when i had it taken off to fix my a/c compressor.... make sure whatever you do, dont mess with the belt tension, and if you do, make sure you get it properly tensioned, or you're out a couple hundred dollars (or youre on the way to building some muscles)...i learned the hard way

 

if you need an oem belt or pulley i have them

 

When the engines off just hold the pulley wheel and see if it has any play. If it feels firm Id have anoter liste to the noise. What kind of noise is it? sqeaking?

The noise is the power steering pump, its getting ready to die.
