last night i had the cd player on and opened the trunk to get a cd. when i closed it the cd player stopped working. i though it just skipped. but changed cds came thing. when i open the trunk it works but when i close it it stops. even if i close it very softly. i though maybe a wire came loose but everything looks fine. i just thought id post this since its a odd problem. if any one has any ideas lemme know. ill post up when i fix it...

 

Damn, sounds like you have some wiring issues..Do you have a stock radio or aftermarket radio?

 

I fixed it... i have an aftermarket radio. but the problem was one of the bars crossing the trunk under the rear speakers as been rubbing the speaker and wore the wire away and some of the magnet. (the red circle in pic is where it sat on the wire and you can see a brown spot next to it where it wore the magnet). i just added a piece of rolled electric tape to gap them and now works fine.

when the trunk is open, it keeps it open. without it the trunk wouldn't stay up it would just fall back down.

 

oh. thanks well I guess I cant take that out for weight reduction. kidding,kidding
