weird ongoing electrical gremlins!
here's the story:
When i bought my lude, I didn't notice that it had no left front fender liner. so I drove it for awhile and even in snow and then noticed it missing. So I checked it out. I noticed that the small wiring harness up in there is hanging down and not connected to the clips like it's supposed to. The harness now has a flat spot on it from the tire rubbing it and was very dirty and salty from winter. So I bought a fender liner, taped everything up good, and figured it would be fine.
Then **** started to get all weird. My cruise control just spontaneously stopped working and it's not the fuse. I also noticed that my front left corner light doesn't work but the other left turn signal does. My reverse lights and my rear corner light don't work either. I've tried new bulbs for all lights and came up with nothing.
I assume something is wrong with the left side of the the car's wiring. Would I have to rip all the wiring out and use a multimeter to figure it out or is there a better way? Is the wiring just in one big harness that I could replace? Any suggestions much appreciated.

ok well the cruise control and front light thing makes sense, that wiring harness has the light and cruise control wires in it, so look inside and see if you need to repair the wires some, that harness is really big though so you wont want to replace it, just fix the wires......as far as the reverse and parking light thing goes, theyre probably also on the same harness, but i know that these two things front and back are independent of each other if its not fuses, they share fuses but nothing else....check the under the hood fuses if you already didnt....
so, i would have to basically rip the harness apart, test the wires that would be at fault, replace them, and tape everything back up? holy christ, this is gonna be a job.
