Default Weird Electrical Problem With Tail Lights

Maybe someone can help...

When I start my car, everything seems normal. But, once I hit the brake pedal, turn on the hazard lights or use my turn signal, the "brake light" lights up on the car diagram in the dashboard. Then, the left and right turn signal indicators come on (faintly) whenever I hit the breaks or turn on the hazard lights, or use the turn signals. The brake light in the rear window lights up, bit the yellow tail lights come on and the red tail lights go off when I hit the brakes.

Thank you!

"Maybe you have a burnt out bulb"

I tried that, but no burnt out bulbs. Thank you.

did you replace it with the correct bulb. I don't know about this being true for your car, but I've heard that they work on resistance. If you have a different resistance bulb then it can fool the car into thinking a bulb is burnt out.

Get a wiring diagram for the tail lights and follow that to the ground. All of those u mention shared a common ground so one or more of those could have short to ground. First things first, check for a common--what do they all share in common...and then check for that--usually its the ground that everything always share in common. Check that out 1st.

Can anyone help me find a tail light/hazard/turn signal wiring diagram? I searched the forums and tried Google. Thanks again!

you are correct sir. i converted my corner lights to turn signals because the body kit i chose didnt have spots for stock turn signals. i got amber bulbs and rewired the turn signals to the new plugs but they still flash fast as if theyre burnt out. ive yet to figure out a way to fix it.
