Walbro Fuel Pump Problems
Just installed a Walbro 255 fuel pump into my 94 prelude.I had to use hte old filter on the new pump because the new one would not fit into the gas tank. Took for about a 2 hour drive and right when I pulled into my drive way, steam started to pour out of the engine. It looks like it is coming right from under the distributor. All hoses and frost plugs are still in/attached. When the car is idling, the fuel pump goes on and off.
its supposed to go on and off.
if theres steam, there has to be a leak, any oil or coolant spots? only things under the dizzy are, heater hose, temp sensor for ecu, and cam sensor.
get hold of an aftermarket temp gauge and hook it to the plug thats on the front top radiator spout.
check fluid levels and conditions
