Default To VTEC or not VTEC...

This is more a hybrid forum question, but that forum seems more about civic transplants.

I have a 94 accord which I want to hybridize. I not sure weather to go with the Si prelude motor or the VTEC motor. I know VTEC rules, but is the Si motor any good too? Anybody here have an Si? Anything has to be better than the F22 lump.

depends on what your planning to do with it...si has a nice flat torque curve (which i think is the same peak as the vtec)...but the vtec has more horsepower up top...
