ok i just did a H22a swap from the old h23. whenever the car gets to full operating temp. the vtec wont turn on at all it will turn on for awhile then decides to turn off. its gettin pretty frustrating..when i got the swap it didnt have a Vtec oil pressure switch so i pulled the one off my sohc vtec f23A1 from what i kno the oil pressure switch is the same..my car (h22a) doesnt have any CEL's on

 

Do you have enough oil, is your oil pan dented, do you have a good ground for your vtec solenoid, can you access an oil pressure gauge and check your oil pressure?

 

my oil pan is a lil dented from when they sat the engine down... i grounded the vtec switch to the battery.i have a full oil..the vtec solenoid itself is in good condition clicks whenever i give it 12v..
