vtec controller help!!
ok i have a vtec controller, does anyone know more or less how long it takes to install one if i take it to a shop, i want to know b/c i dont want it to be like 2 hours and have them tell me it took all day, so let me know thanks!!!!
if you mean the APEXI VTEC CONTROLLER then you could just buy a harness that goes between the ECU and the wires that go into the ECU that has a connector already wired in. usuall costs about $120 if i'm not mistaken. then install it yourself.
this way if you ever get rid of the controller or decide to use another management system you can take it out yourself without any mess of wires.

it should take anywhere between 30minutes to an hour. It all depends how experienced they are, and if they have done it before. Took me bout an hour to do my self and it was my first time. Why dont you purchase the Marcucci wire harness and install it yourself? It will take you 5 minutes and you wont have to cut any wires. The harness is worth every penny.
well i bought it used off ebay and im not sure it came with everything, here the ebay link ,http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33596, let me know if that it that it needs thanks for ur help in advanced.
It looks like it brings what you need. The controller and the ECU harness. Looks like you get no mount but you dont really need that. You can get the Marcucci harness at http://www.marcuccimotorsports.com.
