Default Visual difference in H22A??????????????

What are the marking on the JDM Type S vs. The american 1/2/3, How would you know if a LSD is present. Dont wanna get ripped off ya know, this is a lot of cash.

All JDM H22As are stamped "H22A". You can indentify a Prelude TypeS motor/tranny because the tranny will have the ATTS unit attached and the block will have a "H22A" stamped on it.

I don't know of any markings to identify H22A trannies that have LSDs.

M2B4-XXXXXXX is the tranny code for the JDM LSD tranny. If you have the tranny out, just look thru the diff where the axles go, if you can see all the way thru the diff with no obstructions ( open diffs have a bar that holds the pinion gears you can see) you have a LSD.

you have a red or blue valve cover on your Type-S. Is you r Trannie stamped like he said it should be?

Ya but be careful some one could have put the black valve cover on on for some reason or other

Ya but be careful some one could have put the black valve cover on on for some reason or other
Anyone can switch a valve cover. Look for the stamp.

Also,some parts like the wire harness and the bottom of the intake manifold will have a p5p stamp on it somewhere.

Thanks for the input, This is the kinda stuff I neeed to know.
Any one aware of the motor mounts need to put this in a 89 rex?
