Default which valvetrain?

Hi guys, I have a jdm h22 with stock internals. I just bent almost all my valves when I threw the wrong gear. I just want to know what the best valves and spring/retainer combo is for my application. I plan on getting cams in the future but for now they are stock jdm cams.

i heard good things about ferra(sp) but they seem to be expensive. search "valves" for the prelude section and u should get a good amount of results.

agreed ^, do you plan on going all motor or f/i in the future? IMO all motor skunk2 for the valves/retainers. Havent seen a problem with them before and everyone i know using them is happy. JG and RM both make good product too.

I plan on going all-motor. I'm leaning towards the skunk2 products but I will check out the others. I was also wondering if I could use springs/retainers with factory cams. Is there any problems with that or will it function the same.

We just added Skunk2 exhaust valves to our head last week. We will see how they hold up at the races next weekend.

well, I have decided to go with the skunk2 valvespring and retainer for sure. Still debating on valves. Just need to know if I can run these valvesprings on factory jdm h22 cams and would it be a good idea or not
