Im in the market for a car and was wondering which of these models you guys prefer. I know the type sh has ATTS and weighs about 90 pounds more than the base, but are their any other differences? Is the ATTS actually useful? Does it resemble an LSD? Which is faster? Id get a 5 speed either way. Thanks.

Try the search function. I'm pretty sure this topic has been beaten to death. I got my base because of some restrictions of mods on SH's. All depends what you want to do with your car.

Just get a base model. IMO, its not worth spending the extra money for an SH....

I would go with the base model. The main reason behind my logic is ATTS and boost really don't go well with each other. Hence the reason Greddy isn't going to release there turbo kit for the SH. The constant traction loss due to the increase in power drives ATTS crazy and leads to problem after problem. ATTS is a fairly expensive add on, and just think what you would do with that extra $.

Like an LSD that does basically the same thing as ATTS.

Except that the SH (ATTS) is a $2500 option. An LSD isn't nearly as much with it's $850 price tag.
