Loud, Ricey = Apexi N1

Subtle, Low Tone = Apexi WS

Not many, only a few Prelude owners here on HT like the Apexi N1. Most will prefer the Apexi WS. The tone is lower and not as loud as the N1.

I have the N1 (w/ silencer) on my 94 VTEC. I like it, sometimes it sounds a little loud/ricey, but not as bad when it's not silenced. I can't complain though, it came from the dealer with it installed.

Tell us what you want.

Thats what I got too and I love it! Good, mellow, but throaty sound and not ricey at all, in my opinion, all of the apexi's seem ricey. Good luck!

Our car (FOR SALE - in Classifieds) features a Thermal R&D. Looks more like the stock exhaust and is 100% stainless from end to end. Sounds and looks great.

RS*R exmag! I hear the GReddy evo2 is deep/low and not too loud or ricey.

if you are going for sound, i would stick with a greddy sp or an apex ws. if you want super quiet, go with the rs*r exmag. but the rs*r is a bit pricey, but that ish is sleeper. my friend got it on his 5th gen and you can hear his intake more than the exhaust. its nice. but if i had to choose out of the 3 i listed above i would go with the sp. oval canister so you don't have a real big problem with lowering your car and also the sound is amazing.

my apexi gt spec owns all......

sounds much like a supra at <4k rpm....

screams like f1 at >4k......

i couldnt really ask for much more, sounds awseome, tied for best i have ever heard with my friend who had an apexi n1 on a jdm itr motor....our sounds are almost the exact same up top, and my car sounds nice at cruising speed......

but yeah, it is loud for all you head ache'ing mo f'ers....

oh yeah and 100% stainless bioch

the ws is a very nice conservative can

Most of us will say, even the people who own them, that the N1 sounds pretty ricey. WS, EVO II, SP, or ExMag. All very good choices.

Deep = Thermal R & D. Great exhaust note

A good combo of deep/kinda loud is theApex'i GT spec.

I personally like the N1. its not always super loud/ricey, just at WOT.

NOone ever gives Thermal ANY credit at all.
