It would be nice if you told us what year your car is. I have no clue where the switch is.

My (94 lude Si) light is CONSTANTLY on sooooo, i decided to take a simple toggle switch, and wired it in. now i can turn on the trunk light whenever I want it to turn on. Its a great option to have, and they should have thought of it. Picture you need your trunk to be open for a long time, lets say you bought something and its too big, and you have to use some twine to hold down the trunck, and its constantly on, THATS SUPER ANNOYING. sure you can remove the bulb, but thats a hassle to pull the cover off and then put it back on when youre done.

Your trunk light stays on even you close the trunk too ? because mine does.
I think there' s a problem, unless it' s the same on your car, I haven' t check on my friend lude as I haven' t see him lately.
Could you check if your light stays on when the trunk is close by looking via the hole when rear seat is down.

So your trunk light works correctly,
after you said
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by dannylee312 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">My (94 lude Si) light is CONSTANTLY on sooooo...</TD></TR></TABLE>
I thought that it stays ON all the time and that you had the same problem as me.
As I said, mine light up when I put the bulb but doesn' t turn off when I close the trunk, so might come from a switch, I would like to fix the problem, does anyone know where this switch is located, I can' t find it.

There is no factory switch for this...I simply made one myself inline with the trunk light wire, and the light does go out when you close the trunk lid. I did this with the ski hole seat put down, so i am positive. hope this helps. Maybe you should try wiring in the switch like me.

I don' t mind the light to be ON when the trunk is open for a long time, it' s just that my trunk light stay ON all the time, even when the trunk is close.
as you said
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by dannylee312 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> the light does go out when you close the trunk lid.</TD></TR></TABLE>
so there must be some kind of switch to make the light go OFF when the trunk is close. I still don' t know where this switch is; and in case there are no switch like you told me, I would like to know how the trunk light works.

Open your trunk lid and look from the inside of trunk at the latch (like at the opposite side of licence plate). You'll find a switch with 2 wire connector there.
