Re: where to buy a new motor
Here is a little story as to why I wont buy a new motor from anywhere else besides Hmotors.
The first motor I bought was from a local engine depo. I got it and had nothing but problems with it. Compression numbers were weird too. 215-200-205-225
Not to big of a problem, but when it came, it was delivered on the back of a pick up truck by someone who didnt speak any english. The motor itself looked like it sat outside in the rain before it was deliveried. They said it had 50k miles on it, and it looked like it had over 200k.
It did last about 15k miles before it blew up....
Now the one from Hmotors.com came on the back of a truck, was delivered via forklift. It took less than a week to get across country, from CA to NJ. It was wrapped in so much plastic wrap, that if you dropped it off a building it would have bounced.
Everything about it was perfect, clean neat, no burn marks, truley most impressive. And the sales rep, was very customer oriented and wanted to insure future business, which he did.
The engine itself, had 225 compression in every cylinder, everything got a thumbs up.
It is more expensive but well worth it.
