if i am not mistaken(and yes i searched), a M6HA transmission is a M6HA transmission no matter what year prelude it came out of, correct? Ive needed a atuo tranny for monthes now and LKQ has one i can afford but it list it as a 00-01 only. i know 5th gen preludes ran from 97-01 so i am slightly confused...... help me out guys

The gearbox is what it is. If it's a MQ39 or whatever that's what it is unless someone's been monkeying around in it.

im honestly getting tired of people saying this. i have to keep it five speed. ive posted in every thread ive ever written about my tranny issues. its the gf's car, she cant drive a stick, and i have back problems that prevents me from driving a stick for extended periods of time.

so unless you have actual advice, leave your name outta my threads. sorry guys, i had to rant.
