Tranny Tech Question
I have a 94 J-spec h22a in my accord. The transmission is starting to go bad. I havn't been able to find a rebuilt kit for it, so I've decided to completely swap the it with an american spec transmission. My question is will a 97 or above SH tranny fit on my 94 prelude motor. I think the bolt pattern is the same, but I'm want to make sure. Also, I don't know if there are different sensors or not.
Please help,

If this tranny won't work what us spec tranny is my best option! M2F4?

Yes the SH tranny can work because it bolts on. (same bolt pattern). However you cannot simply use 'just' the tranny and not have the ATTS come along for the ride. You have a couple of options, if you get a good enough deal on an sh tranny you can bolt it up and have the ATTS remain dead wieght, or if you really want to you can wire your car so that the ATTS can work. This has been done but requires alot of resource and time (many extra wires and sensors to wire and place). i recommend that you get a base tranny, if all you want to do is just swap the tranny without the wieght penalty.
