Tranny question
I have an h22 sh in a 1993 si. what tranny would be the best for this swap. one from an h22 or an h23? i heard the h23 tranny has a close gear ratio. its pretty much gonna be a street racing setup. Any suggestion???
For the most acceleration in about any direction, straight, or through turns get a M2B4 JDM OEM LSD H22 tranny. They are expensive and there is no warranty but it has great gears for 1st-3rd and 4th is comparable with H22 4th and fifth is geared really high for just highway driving. or go talk to Quiafe and they will get you a custom tranny without all of the typical H22 tranny issues for a cool $20,000 only that it probably does not include a LSD. too bad. And after you do all of the modification get to a bleeding track to do your racing. Sorry to be a smart a$$.
