Aight well i gotta 96 Lude Si Automatic....and i hate tha fact that i cant shift wen im in 4th gear and only going 60-70 mph. Well i have an older 90 Honda Civic that has a 5 speed transmission, and ive been told that i can just switch it out, but havent had any clue on how much its gonna cost....can any1 tell me about how much it'll cost to do this at my local garage? and if all i need is in tha other car? this would REALLY REALLY help me

 

It will cost too much. You are better off selling it and just buying a 5 speed Lude.
Doing a tranny swap will decrease it's resale value too. I think it should cost more than $1500 to do and that is a VERY conservative price.

Also, your Civic 5 speed will not work with your H23 motor.
