Default traction bars

Whats everyone doing in regards to traction bars and other ways to handle high hp? I hae a 95 prelude vtec and I haven't found anyone that makes anything like that for the lude. Any info is appreciated. I have found a place that will bend me a cage, but that's about it. I don't want to put the turbo in, until I have the stuff to handle the power. Thanks everyone.

preludes dont need "traction" bars b/c they come with them stock. they are called radius rods, get some nice spherical (sp??) bushings from http://www.opmmotorsports.com and you will have the same thing as the z10 bars for 130 bux.

ok, thanks for the info. Is this gonna stop/minimize my wheel hop? I know they hop now, and from what I know/hear wheel hop=broken driveshafts

well they can help, but replace motor mounts too that helps a bit...

there was a thread about that just a lil bit ago...try a search and see if you come up with it...youll find what you need in that thread

ok, so are the sperical bushings gonna help then? I mean I'd buy em, for 130 if they are gonna work, somewhat. add a qualife, and that would take care of the rest, and then get some good motor mounts, and we are good right? well, the link that is posted earlier in this site, doesn't work anymore, anyone else know where to get sperical bushings?

why can;t you find them? They are cheap and made by energy suspension

well the mounts will prevent the engine from torquing when you launch it cause the motor mounts force back because of the polyurethane inserts....the engine doesn't torque so the axles don't torque either = less wheel hop

hey dont' worry... they don't list any suspension parts for the 5th gen, so i called. Alot of the parts from the 4th gen will fit the 97-98 5th.. all except the parts that run $56 and $38 (which makes up most of the cost of the $140 kit anyhow). Oh, and anyone know if the sway bars on the 5th gen (97-98) are 25mm and 23mm as they are on the 4th gen? If so I can use those too!
